With regard to the first building block, 1 Regulate your stress levels, there are two stress levels that are important to keep track of:

1 The current stress level that generally varies in the human body during the day depending on activity level and intensity.

2 The general stress level over days and weeks. It describes how stressed you are on an average level when you do your normal activities in your daily life.

The general stress level can be elevated if you have a stressful life.

This means that the body is never enough recovered, often including restless sleep with dreams and multiple awakenings as well as difficulties falling asleep.
