The Ability To Listen To Feedback

Today’s post continues with how our relationship pattern affects our ability to take care of and calm our emotions as well as impacts our self-worth.

This connection is to a large extent based on childhood experiences which also impacts our expectations of to what degree we can depend on and get help from others.

Today’s post continues with how to develop our relationship pattern and hence emotional life to get in the direction we want.

Last weeks’ posts were about improving mutual understanding for changing and developing the relationship while remaining close.

We are all differently sensitive in how well we accept feedback.

There are many dimensions that impacts this:

-The emotional and mental state of both

-The mental flexibility of both

-The actual situation

-The status of the relationship, which is also impacted by most recent encounters.

In the coming sessions I will expand on these important dimensions.

More about how to develop our relationships, feelings and emotional life in coming posts.
