Questions To Identify Triggers In Your Timeline Behind Changes In Well-Being

To identify a meaningful and motivating future direction, it is helpful to know your starting point including your past.

The timeline, see earlier posts on Mondays, can bring much clarity to why you feel the way you do right now, why you are where you are today as well as what has to change to get back what you miss.

There are always triggers in your surroundings having impacted the way you felt during different periods in your life.

Most often, your reactions are likely the consequence of a change, such as important changes in circumstances, roles and relationships.

Look at your timeline again.

If your problems/symptoms are not already listed in your timeline, then mark when they started and see what happened at that time in your life:

–What did your life look like then?

– What happened just before?

– What was going on in your life?

– What were the ssituations in your important close relationships, such as partner, parents, siblings, friends, colleagues, children, others?
